I will always remember the Hazeltine golf outings. Our foursome was Bob Engelfried, Carl Scheurmann, Jim and myself. Jim was our best golfer and we always enjoyed his company. After i retired and moved to Port St Lucie, Florida, Jim and Kay would spent Februarys here in nearby Hutchingson Island. We would play golf, drink beer and generally "catch-up" with each other and our families. I miss those times.

It's a shock;glad I was able to spend time with you both in Feb. I'll always be grateful for his caring and assistance during my Mom's placement--like a brother. We go back to the early days of family gatherings. You're all in my prayers and heart always. He is missed. Love, cousin Catherine (Dolly)

I've known Jim since 1948. We last talked this April. He was a buddy all those years. He will not be forgotten. Condolences to Kay, his sons and daughter, his siblings and grandchildren.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

Jim and I worked together at Hazeltine Corporation in Greenlawn. We played many rounds of golf together. I will miss him.
