Robert MINER Obituary

MINER - Robert Francis III (Robby) passed tragically on January 3, 2013. A resident of Newport News, Virginia formerly of New Hyde Park , NY. Beloved husband of Deanna. Cherished son of Robert Jr. and Laurie Miner. Devoted father to Triston, 8 years old and Gavin, 10 months. Loving brother of Max. He was a Master-at-Arms in the Navy, stationed aboard the USS Enterprise. He recently returned from deployment in the gulf. Master-At-Arms, United States Navy, USS Enterprise, CVN-65. Active member of Enterprise Engine Company 1, New Hyde Park Fire Department, Boy Scout, Troop 298, Theodore Roosevelt District, New Hyde Park Memorial High School, Class of 2005. Robby loved camping, snowboarding, mountain biking, fishing, geocaching and motorcycling. He was a loving, protective husband, caring and nurturing father, he exceeded our expectation in a son, and was a guiding and strong brother. Family & Friends may visit Thursday & Friday 2-4:30 P.M. & 7-9:30 P.M New Hyde Park Funeral Home. 506 Lakeville Rd. New Hyde Park, NY.
