Dear Mr. Wade,
We were so very sorrowful to hear of Laura's passing. I can not imagine the loss you feel. Laura was a very brave, sensitive and wonderful person. Laura helped my daughter Kaitlyn all through HS at WB as her counselor. Laura & my daughter shared their love of Johnny Depp together. Kaitlyn had given Laura a book on Johnny last year in 2008 when she graduated. Laura will be truly missed as she did so very much for so many.
I'm the woman that works at Blackman in Bohemia if you ever need anything. Certainly feel free to contact me.

My family and I are so sad to hear about this HUGE loss. Please know you are in our thoughts and pray everyday.
I wish I could have met Laura. I know she must have been special beautiful and fun, especially marrying a Wade.

Laura and I always shared a good laugh and great conversation. Laura was a excellent partner to have at WBHS. Over the years, we had many students in common and she always went above and beyond whenever I needed help. I am so glad she was able to chaperone our trip to Medieval Times last year-she was so excited to go and we had a great time. I will miss her smile and I WILL NEVER FORGET her STRENGTH and DETERMINATION. She is an inspiration...always.

Laura's presence will be sorely missed here at WBHS. She was a true professional who truly cared about her students and treated them, as well as colleagues, with the utmost respect.
Personally, I will miss her smile the most. No matter what was going on she was always so positive and I found that to be so inspirational about her.

My deepest sympathies to you all at this very difficult time. Laura was such a wonderful person and pleasure to be around. She impacted all the people she came into contact with. Laura, was wonderful to work with, she was a caring organized coach for our JHS Girls' Lacrosse Team as well as our Varsity Girls' Swim Team. She will be sorely missed.

My name is Janel Green (Williams), former math chairperson at West Babylon High School. I recently moved to Philadelphia due to marriage. Before I left, Laura and I had several conversations about life.
I found Laura to be a kind, sweet and strong woman. She was willing to face any problem or situation, head on. I loved Laura and she will always be in my heart.

My Dearest Laura,
Words cannot express the sorrow I feel in my heart. When I think back to "growing up"...I think of you...From our days of Barbies and listening to Duran Duran, to trying out for the swim team together and us both jumping up and down when we got our letters telling us WE MADE THE TEAM!!
You and I learned about life and unfortunately, grew apart as we grew older.

I truly enjoyed Laura's company during the 6th period "lunch bunch" in the teacher's cafeteria. The company and chatter over the years brightened my day.
