I was a funeral directing student at SUNY Farmingdale and I remember Professor Metzroth as one of the "best of the best". He had the ability to translate his life experiences in the field into interesting and memorable learning lessons. I'll always remember the many classes and field trips I had with him; my sincere condolences to the family and friends he leaves behind.

Charlie and i shared fond memories serving together in the Argyle Hose Co. 3
Babylon F.D. We had a common interest in
model railroading as well. He will be missed greatly

I was in the SUNY class of '77 and Professor Metzroth was a dedicated teacher, we did everything we could to make him smile...usually unsuccessfully. He inspired generations of funeral directors to greater service.
