Raymond O. Colburn, 82, of North Pole, died peacefully Tuesday, March 21, 2017, surrounded by his family.
Raymond was born March 7, 1935, in Ellington, New York. He married Barbara Petty on June 30, 1956, in Rochester, New York. Raymond was an accountant and worked for ARC of Rochester, New York. He and his wife, Barbara, have lived in North Pole for the last nine years.
Raymond was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, of North Pole; mother, Harriet Brownridge, of Aiken, South Carolina; sons, Glenn (Janean) Colburn, of North Pole; James Colburn, of Conway, South Carolina; and Wayne Colburn, of San Diego, California; daughter, Laura (Phillip) Lupia, of Rochester, New York; sister, Lucille (William) Frost, of Sinclairesville, New York; brothers, Donald (Barbara) Colburn, of Howard, Pennslyvania; Gordon (Shirley) Colburn, of Aiken, South Carolina; and George (Linda) Colburn, of Jamestown, New York; and 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 26, at the Church of the Nazarene, 1955 Peridot St., North Pole, with Pastor Marie Fitts officiating.
