Joe was one of the wonderful folks that helped make IBM into the #1 company in the world during his era. I was fortunate to hear Joe describe the work ethic of "IBMers" in his early years, and it inspired me to try to carry the IBM Team flag forward in that same "tradition". I also shared his stories with many others over the ensuing years.

My sincere condolences to the family. I have no doubt Joe will carry on his inspirational ways in Heaven!
