Jesse I will miss your smiling face at Wing in Burlington but know you are in a better place and in no pain. The Angels are the lucky ones. Maybe you can get the staff eval job up there? Well here's to knowing you and condolences to your family and friends. You will be missed but you are in Good Company with many other CAP members who went before you. Save a place for the rest of us CAP members.

Every time I had the opportunity to see Mr. Collum was special as he always seemed genuinely interested in how I was doing and what I was doing. My prayers for comfort now and in the days ahead as we all mourn the loss of a fine man.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of this very kind gentleman. I knew him as my flight instructor a few years ago. I remember him most for his patience and love of flying.

No particular moment or story stands out for me. But looking back through the years, the times I spent around Mr Collum and his family were always filled with laughter and smiling and friendship. I'm grateful for every Thanksgiving I was able to spend with Jesse and his amazing family

JW, as we called him, was my Jr Boys SS teacher and Boy's Club director. How well I remember the long hikes he would take us on down the River Road and the local YMCA on Friday nights in Wilmington. May he rest in peace with the Prince of Peace

Hazel, My thoughts and prayers are with you. I worked with Jesse for over 30 years and he was a fine Christain man and a good friend during our years there.

Sorry to see that Jesse has hung up his wings. Or rather upgraded his earthbound wings for heavenly ones. Several years ago I took my first few hours of instrument rating dual instruction with Jesse. A real gentleman with a kind soul, and a guy you just plain enjoyed flying with. There's a special place in my memory of those hours I was fortunate enough to fly with him.
