Dear Rob and Family,
Please accept our sincere sympathy in the loss of your father. Although sympathy is a small consolation, even from the hearts of us who share your sorrow, I want you to know how I feel. Jim was respected and admired by everyone who worked with him at the Interstate United Food company in New York. Jim was special friend, a unique friend, one of a kind with no selfishness in sight. Jim and I share daily commuting from New Jersey to New York in his old Camaro.... one foot on the gas and the other on the break and no speed gauge. While driving he told me all about vending and the company politic and we shared lots of stories and laughs. His sense of humor never faltered even though we had not seen each other since his departure to Cary. His emails where frequent and he was always the first with a Christmas card. Having shared great moments together will remain forever in my memory. Sincerely.

Dear Rob, Libby and Lauren,
It is imposible to put into words the grief everyone must feel at this time. Jim was an old and cherished friend. Hardly a week would pass when he did not call us in upstate New York to just have a little chat. He will be greatly missed by many people. You have our deepest sympathy. God speed old friend.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
