Just finding out about John's passing. Brings me great sorrow. A truly wonderful man. Am glad for the opportunity to get to know him. One of my better customers too for buying VFP products.
Love you John. Your work is done here. May your soul rest in peace. May you continue to help us from whatever vantage point you can. We still really need help

My deepest condolences to John's family. John was a colleague, and friend to all who knew him. Please know that your family's loss will be felt by many at UNC.

I could never forget John from those years at Chapel Hill together: in my mind's eyes, I will always see his face, his smile, his determination, his voice and his love of singing.
Thanks for teaching me about life and the values that are foreign to me.
I am sad for your great loss, Jack, Gordon and everyone in this special family. I hope you allow me to join the celebration of John's life with you.
Hugs,

So sorry to hear of John's death. I knew him when he lived in Nova Scotia and then when when we moved to North Carolina. He was always so kind and welcoming. It was great to reconnect with him and his wife Sue when they came to Nova Scotia several years ago.

Although, I never met John, there was so much love felt by a part of Helen's life, that I'm saddened by his passing and express my deepest sorrow for the family and also the sincerest hope that those that were touched by him can carry on the torch of peace and hope in an uncertain world.
