Diana would like to let you know that at 93, her work here is done. She received a call, a sort of offer you can't refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge bonus, a reunion with family, friends and professional peers she has not seen for a very long time. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where food is delicious and you never gain an ounce, she will have absolute clarity to fulfill her quest for answers to complicated world issues, research and writing to her hearts content, and where Music, Love and Laughter are guaranteed. She left detailed instructions for her beloved husband David, all her children, grandchildren and great grandchild to celebrate her bountiful life here, which has now been completed. We were blessed to learn many valuable life lessons from such a brilliant, passionate and loving person.
David and Diana fell in love with Santa Barbara in 1978 and knew they had found the home of their dreams ...
In lieu of flowers we ask that you contribute to Sarah House. The staff are kind, loving and attended to her every need.

An extraordinary and energetic person who worked selflessly and tirelessly for causes she believed in...all with good humor. It was an honor to know this elegant and sophisticated lady. She made a big difference and will be missed.
