My condolences and sympathies to the Klibo family and the Petersen and Klibo cousins who will miss Olga so much. She and Kris and their family were such a big part of the early days of the Solvang and Santa Ynez Valley communities. She is among the last of that first generation and it saddens us all. May she rest in eternal peace.

Kristi and Karla, so sorry to read about the loss of your Mom, even though I am sort of jealous that you had her so long, having lost my parents years ago. I hope your good memories stay with you for eons. Your Mom was a lovely lady who raised two wonderful ladies! My prayers for both you and for your Moms continued spiritual growth through all the worlds of God

The last time I visited Olga and Kris, it was like stepping into a time warp, back into my childhood. Their voices were just the same, and it was like they hadn't changed at all for all those years. I visited Olga again when she had moved into the Solvang Lutheran home. I have precious memories of childhood visiting, playing in their homes in Solvang and Buelton. Karen Larson Jensen
