Auntie, I miss you more than you'll ever know. My heart aches to see you again and have just one more hug from you. Everyone you knew talked about your hugs. They had healing power. You were a ray of sunshine and a delicate flower - a truly beautiful woman. You cared about everyone, including the supermarket checkout girl. You gave love freely and made people smile - you were a gift from God. In your honor, I promise to live by your example and also to be the artist you always inspired and encouraged me to be. Irma was such a wonderful person to everyone she met. I never heard her speak ill of anyone. It has been 1 year since she has beeen gone from us but I still look for her at Fort Shenandoah at the shoots. Irma, I hope you know you are missed.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Irma's sudden and tragic passing. We worked together at St. Regis Paper Company/Champion International in West Nyack, NY for many years. I have such wonderful memories of Irma that will last forever.

I will miss my special friend. We would sit on my deck at Fort Shenandoah in Winchester, VA, laugh, talk about sewing, making quilts or just talk girl talk. I will miss her and think of her every day. I know someday we will meet again. Love you gal.

My Thoughts and Prayers go out to Irmas Fabric Tree I will miss her at the Westchester Airport where i would see her as she flew out. No matter how much of of rush either one of us were in,Irma russing to her plane or I russing to board mine,Irma always made time to stop and hay Hi how are you and alsways asked about my Mom....It was a pleasure knowing you...

James and I have been blessed to call you friend. In you kind and loving way you have touched our life. We are in deep sorrow that you have been called to the Lord so suddenly.
May the Lord hold you in the Palm of his hand.

We didn't realize that when we hugged good nite at the campsite and said our "goodbyes" that it would truely be our last. I have only had the pleasure of knowing Irma for the last few years but she has been a wonderful, kind and generous friend. I will miss her warmth, smile and laughter.She spoke so loveingly of her family and the trip she made last year to visit them. My heart goes out to her family, I know she will be greatly missed by them. She will be missed by the "Ladies of the 8th" and our "Beach Girls" club. Rest in the arms of the angels Irma.

Irma was the first friend that I made in America.We were both in our teens and enjoyed doing "girley" things together.Irma was our maid of honor in our wedding in 1966 and we stayed close for all these many years.We laughed whenever we spoke to each other.What a joy to call her "Friend".My love and prayers to the family.

First met Irma in California when she was maid of honor at my sister Pamela's wedding on December 3, 1966. She was a lovely, warm person and a couple of weeks later we saw a movie (Doctor Zhivago) together, in Hollywood, on her 23rd birthday. Will miss you Irma.

Irma was a very loyal and frequent customer of our store. She was also a member of our Quilt Club.She always put others before herself and was a very good friend and quilter.

Our hearts go out to Irma's family. It was with great sorrow when we received the news of Irma's passing. She has been our friend for over 25 years through Mosby's. She often talked about her loving family, sharing how James reminded her of her brother and how much she loved her nieces and nephews. I know we will always miss her wonderful smile and loving hugs but she will always remain in our hearts. I hope you find peace in knowing that she had so many friends. Our prayers are with you.

It was my very great pleasure to know Irma. She and I bowled in tow leagues in Brookfield and when I became ill last year,Irma stepped in and took charge of the league. She was a woman who loved life and those around her. iI feel very fortunate that I knew her. God must have need someone to fill in on a team.Good luck Irma and throw all strikes.

Words cannot say how we feel about the loss of such a wonderful person. Irma always greeted us with her beautiful smile, and a big hug and wanting to know all about our family. Winchester, Va was our meeting place for seeing and catching up with our busy lives. We will always remember her sitting under the trees cheering us on through each event with her red hat on.
