Elizabeth Barata Obituary

Elizabeth (Mead) Barata, aga 96 previously of Danbury, died October 28th at Litchfield WoodsHealth Care in Torrington. She was the widow of Joseph Barata. Mrs. Barata was born January 12, 1914 in Danbury and lived there most of her life. She had been a housekeeper at the Danbury Hospital for many years. She is survived by a son, Francis J. Barata of Bantam; a daughter, Joanne Francisco of Danbury; many grand, great-grand and great-great-grand-children. Funeral service will be Monday, November 1st, 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Litchfield. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Danbury. Friends may call at the Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Rd., Litchfield on Monday prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
