Professor Petrucelli gave you extra credit in his class if you brought bottles of Fox´s Ubet chocolate syrup for him. One year he bought Girl Scout cookies from my niece.

After over fifty years since I had Professor Petrucelli in college, I still remember his Marketing classes, whether I had him during the college year or during the summer. He was truly dedicated to teaching his students.

I was fortunate enough to have Prof. Petrocelli at St. Francis College for three courses. One during the day session, one at night and one during the summer night classes. He really enough his stuff and was a real gentleman. Though I never worked in marketing, I always felt when dealing with my company's insureds or potential insureds who were claimants, I was using some of the skills that he taught at our beloved SFC. We know that he is in heaven with some of my other gifted professors.

Ernie was my professor at Fordham University in the mid 1970's. I enjoyed him as a professor and took all of my Markrting courses with him. As a person and professional he was top notch.
I am saddened to hear of his death albeit two years past and my prayers are with him and his family.God Bless you!

My Deepest sympathy and prayers goes to the entire Petrucelli family.
Ernie was my College advisor when I first came to St. Francis College back in September 1992. He was my college professor for three courses 2 Marketing and Business Policies.
I worked with Ernie for four years in Accounting, Management and Computer Information Systems Department at St. Francis.
Even though I graduated back in June 1997 we became best of friends and treated each other as part of the family.
Ernie was my advisor, professor, mentor, friend, and more like a father figure in my life.
I had the previledge to keep a nearly 25 year friendship with him that he loved his family, passion for every aspect of life whether it is cooking or baseball. He was there for me and I was there for him.
He will be truly missed. I am not going to say Goodbye but instead I will see him again in Heaven.

Ernie was a devoted family man who worked very hard throughout his life to provide for his family and give them opportunities and comfort. He and his family hosted huge family gatherings each year at their home for many years that gave us memories of a lifetime. He was never short on offering wisdom, advice, compliments and funny stories...he was truly a warm, smart man and will be missed.

I had the distinct pleasure of being a student of Professor Petrucelli at SFC. During my first class with him, I learned he lived in Danbury and realized that during his summer evening classes, he might let us out a few minutes earlier, which he did. I still remember a lot of his thoughts on management and marketing. He was a wonderful professor and person. What a loss to future SFC students. Class of 1972

To the Petrucelli family~my condolences to you. I have such fond memories of Professor Petrucelli when I took his classes at Western. He was a true teacher. Almost thirty years later, I still fall back on many of the things I learned from him in my own career. My thoughts are with you but know he was highly thought of.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

Dear Petrucelli Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I was a student of Professor Petrucelli's at Western back in the 1982-1983. He was a great professor and one of the only that I remember from my college days. My husband and I have had a small business together for the past ten years. I attribute much of our success to the teachings of Prof. Petrucelli's. God bless and may he rest in peace.
