Jerry was vibrant, compassionate for the elderly and needy, and loved to laugh. We are heartsick that he and Steve are both gone. They have left their giving spirit on our community. Barbara Henry, First Selectman, Town of Roxbury

I am devastated by the loss of my nearest and dearest cousin. Together through all of our school years, and partners in many shenanigans as children, we renewed our close ties in recent years. Jerry was a most uncommon gentle man and gentleman whom I greatly admired and loved. How sorely missed he will be. Bonnie Moore Lynn

Jerry had a heart of pure gold, enjoying life to the fullest, loving family and friends and always a hand out to those less fortunate, his laugh was contagious and will be my favorite memory of a dear cousin. Welcome us at the Golden Gate Jerry. Cousin, Helen Moore-Montgomery
