Margaret Cerulli Obituary

Margaret H. Cerulli, 67, of Ridge-field, wife of Anthony P. Cerulli Sr. died at Danbury Hospital, Monday, December 6, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Cerulli was born in Norfolk, VA, February 1, 1943, a daughter of Paul and Marie (Moore) Evans. She resided in Norfolk until the age of twelve and moved to Stamford where she attended local schools and graduated from Stamford High School in the Class of 1961. Mr. and Mrs. Cerulli married in 1963 after meeting one another in 1957 in junior high school. A talented artists using oil based colors, Mrs. Cerulli was a homemaker and was completely devoted to her friends and family, most especially her husband, children and grandchildren. A resident of Ridgefield since 1970 coming from the Stamford/Norwalk area, Mrs. Cerulli attended St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Ridgefield. In addition to her husband of forty-seven years, she is survived by a daughter, Antoinette M. Fornshell and her husband, Robert D. of Ridgefield; a son, Anthony P. Cerulli Jr. and his wife, Kirstin of Ridgefield; a brother, James Evans and his wife, Mary of Wilton; a sister, Sue Davis and her husband, Robert of Bethel, a sister-in-law, Gloria Trivelli of Stamford and two brothers-in-law, Michael Cerulli, Jr. or Stamford and Oakley Banning of Norwalk; four grandchildren, Emily, Robert, Angelina and Joseph and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 10th at 10:30 a.m. in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield with the Rev. Michael Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Ridgefield. The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home www.kanefuneralhome.net on Thursday, December 9th from 4PM to 8PM.
