Patricia B. Rogers

Patricia B. Rogers, 82, formerly of New Milford, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Oakdale. She was the wife of the late Warren T. Rogers. Mrs. Rogers was born in Stamford, December 10, 1927, daughter of the late Paul and Pauline Reynolds Berglund. She was a resident of New Milford since 1946 until moving to Oakdale in July 2010. Mrs. Rogers was a bookkeeper for many years working for Couch Bros. of New Milford, Cliff's Garage of Kent and Kent Auto Parts, retiring in 1992. Mrs. Rogers was a member of Odd Fellows Lodge, Palm Rebekah and the Thrift Mart, all of New Milford. She is survived by two sons, Gary Rogers and his wife Patricia T. of Jensen Beach, FL and John Rogers and his wife Joan of Oakdale; a daughter, Pamela DeTuzzi and her husband Joe of Beacon Falls; a brother, Philip Berglund of Randolph Center, VT; two sisters, Diane Willard of Arlington, VT and Anita Gaiko of Bethel, VT; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 1 P.M. at the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, CT. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12 Noon until the time of the service. Burial will be private in Morningside Cemetery, Gaylordsville, CT.
