Robert Beers

Robert "Bob" Martin Beers, 80, beloved husband and outstanding father, died November 12, 2010 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born on March 23, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York. For over 40 years, Bob was the owner and operator of B-n-P Roofing. Bob is predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Rosie Beers, who passed just 25 days ago. He is survived by his daughter, Doreen Solomon and her husband Gerald, of Arlington, VA, his daughter Leslie Pattison, of Danbury, CT and his daughter Jodi Beardsley-Fiorentini and her husband John-Paul Fiorentini of Danbury, CT, his beloved nephew, Christian Phillips of Phoneix, AZ and his best friend, John Moriarity of Patterson, NY. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Gregory and Zachary Solomon, William Beardsley and Shauna Beardsley-Vargas and Rachael and Robert Pattison. In his spare time Bob was an enthusiastic chef, outdoorsman, animal lover and fine woodworker. He loved singing, music and entertaining. Bob loved to laugh and brought great joy and laughter to his family showing them comfort and strength even in the final days of his life. Although he will be sadly missed by all who knew him we find great comfort that he is once again reunited with his beloved wife. Services will be private.
