Shirley Bennett-Lotz Obituary

Shirley Bennett-Lotz, 83, of Camp Hill, Pa., passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2010, at Messiah Village, Mechan-icsburg, PA. Born in Butler, Pa., on June 13, 1927, to the late Robin E. Bennett, D.O., and Genevieve M. Bennett, Shirley lived most of her life in Camp Hill, Pa. She retired from Holy Spirit Hospital after many years of service as Executive Secretary to the President, having graduated Katharine Gibbs School of New York, Class of '47. Shirley made frequent visits to New York and Connecticut to visit her daughter and family. She is survived by her daughter, Dyane V. Smith, Esquire and her grandson, Taylor L. Smith of Redding. Services will be held at Camp Hill Presbyterian Church, Camp Hill, PA with the Reverend Robin Reilly officiating. Burial will be in Coles Cemetery, Derry, Pa., where there will be a graveside service. Contributions may be made to the Hospital Albert Schweitzer, PO Box 81046, Pittsburgh, PA 15217, in honor of Shirley and the continuing work of John P. Judson, M.D.
