I'm holding tuba in DHS marching band during 1964 Memorial Day Parade

Allyn was a true example of MUSIC MAN - a great performer, inspiration & leader of our DHS 1964 class - last to graduate from White Street building. Allyn and I were CT ALL-STATE CHOIR members and had great times together during high school - albeit for one year since I transferred into DHS from Wilton HS fall of 1963. Keeping fond thoughts and memories of out times - and prayers for Allyn's family and other friends too.

I was just talking of him yesterday with an old Danbury friend. We dated in high school. His music was such a special talent. So sorry to hear this news. Condolences to his family. He was a special person.

Allyn and I were in a couple of classes at DHS 64. He was always soft-spoken and pleasant. I knew he had an interest in music, but I never realized how accomplished he was.
He is in my thoughts and prayers.

Allyn and I were classmates DHS64 and served at St James in Danbury together. His strong devotion to the church and music will never be forgotten and I will miss him and his spirit.
