Reinhilde Krampe Obituary

Reinhilde Krampe Reinhilde (Schauer) Krampe, 79, of Danbury, died Saturday morning, September 15, 2007 at her home. She was the wife of the late Alfred Krampe who died December 10, 2006. Mrs. Krampe was born in Germany, October 23, 1927, a daughter of Ludwig and Louise Schauer. She received her formal education in Germany. She came to the United States in 1957, settling in Danbury, and taught courses in baking, cooking and gardening. Two sons, Fred Krampe and his wife Loretta, of Hilton, N.Y., and Claude Krampe and his wife Ursula, of Switzerland; three daughters: Doris Rugger and her husband David, of Brookfield; Helga Pfanner and her husband J. Robert, of East Lyme; and Ingrid Krampe of Jefferson, Ga.; as well as one brother, four sisters, seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews, survive. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Avenue, Danbury, with the Rev. Carolyn Legg, officiating. Burial will follow in Lutheran Cemetery, Danbury. The family will receive in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. Contributions to Regional Hospice, Home Care Program, 405 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810 would be appreciated.
