Daniel Dylewsky Obituary
Captain Daniel Dylewsky Jr., 79, died on Thursday, November 11, 2010, at home.
He was born on February 4, 1931, to Daniel and Anastasia Gulak Dylewsky of Stamford, Connecticut.
A graduate of Stamford High School with the Class of 1949, Mr. Dylewsky was a retired Captain with the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the Elk and Moose lodges, the Waynesboro Antique Car Club, Kinderton Country Club and the VFW Post # 8163.
Memorial services will be held at the VFW in Clarksville 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2010, with Doug Bowen officiating. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Dylewsky is survived by his daughters, Holley Harbin of Big Bear, California, and Donna Lee Thompson of Apple Valley, California; a son, Daniel Dylewsky III of Lancaster, California; and sisters, Kay Niedoroda of New York, Helen Morrison of Carolina Shores, South Carolina, and Ann Tymula of Stamford, Connecticut. Also surviving are four grandsons, one great-grandson, numerous nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews; and his ex-wife and very close friend, Opal Dylewsky.
