David Moten Porterfield Glover David Moten Porterfield Glover, went home to be with his newly accepted Savior on Friday, September 17, 2010, at Augusta Health. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He was retired as a machinist and boiler room guard from Genicom, formerly General Electric. He also worked at Klann Organ and Owens Illinois Glass prior to his employment with Genicom. He served honorably in the United States Air Force and Air Force reserves and was a stock car driver and golden gloves boxer for the Air Force and the state of West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Thelma; two sisters, Louise and Jane; and two brothers-in-law, Hawthorne Snead and John Brace.

He is survived by his wife, Eurania Faye; three children and their spouses, David and Kara Beth Glover, Rachelle Glover, Jeffrey and Kimberly Glover; and three grandchildren, Cody, Clancy and Bethanie Glover.

He is also survived by two brothers and their spouses, Lawrence and Mary Ann Glover and Arthur and Elizabeth Glover; three sisters and a spouse, Juanita Snead, Kay and Gene Morrison, and Aleta Brace; and a brother-in-law, Jim Fulk. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2010, at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at Augusta Memorial Park with military honors, and will be conducted by Pastor Eric Childers of Grace Lutheran Church, Waynesboro.

The family would also like to thank the staff of Augusta Medical Center's Emergency Department, PCU, Hospice and Cancer Center for their kindness and care given to our family.
