Helen E. Jones FISHERSVILLE

Helen E. (Williams) Jones, 84, of Fishersville, Virginia, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, September 27, 2010, at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia.

She was born on January 17, 1926, in Waynesboro, Virginia to the late Wesley and Cornelia (Carter) Williams.

She was a member of Mount Marine Baptist Church in Fishersville, Virginia.

Her parents; her husband, Nathan Jones Sr.; and one grandson, preceded her in death.

Helen is survived by three children, Nathan Jones Jr., Ronald Jones and his wife, Alesia, both of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Judith Harris of Waynesboro, Virginia; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one sister, Marie Jackson of Waynesboro, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and other friends.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Mount Marine Baptist Church in Fishersville, Virginia, with burial at the church cemetery.

Public viewing will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family will receive friends anytime at the sister's residence, Mrs. Marie Jackson, 1070 Albemarle Avenue, Waynesboro, Virginia.

McCutcheon's Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
