My Condolences to the Hoopengardner Family. Joel was a great friend of mine growing up. went to school together and some of the same friends. He was a great friend and a great person. He always had something funny to say. He always made a good time when he was growing up. Joel my friend rest in peace and believe you'll be sadly missed

Not one for alot of "emotional-words", so I'll just say that the Joel I knew was a Good-guy! Always upbeat,laughing and willing to lend a hand. Sorry his time was short!

Joel I thank you for being a good Uncle to my son. I thank you for taking John to see his grandparents. I thank you for being part of John's life. I thank you for making John smile. I will miss you. I agree with John about your smile and your laugh. You touched many people and I am glad I had the opportunity to know you.

Joel was an amazing man! We have known him for over 20 years. He went out of his way to help my son with his go cart years ago. Joel always had that smile on his face that would light up a room When God needed another angel he made the perfect choice. You will be missed my friend. I am sorry that I will not be there to say goodbye to you! Our deepest sympathy to Joel's family and all that knew him.

My condolences to all of Joel's family. He was the kind of person that if his name was mentioned in conversation, it would automatically put a smile on my face. He was so special to so many, and will be deeply missed by all that had the wonderful pleasure of knowing him. Keeping all of his family and friends close in prayer for comfort and strength during this sorrowful time.
