Mary Blossom Creighton, 86

EASTON - Mary Blossom Creighton, 86,of Easton, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2009, at Dorchester General Hospital. She was born in Fishing Creek on November 9, 1922, and was a daughter of the late Ronald R. McGlaughlin, Sr. and Mabel Aaron McGlaughlin. Mrs. Creighton graduated from Hooper Island High School class of 1939. On June 30, 1939 she married Alfred T. Flowers. He passed away on May 27, 1964. In 1965 she married William Thomas Creighton, Sr. and he passed away on February 7, 1984. She worked at Airpax as a supervisor until she retired. She enjoyed reading and taking care of her family. She was a member of Hosier Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Rae Toms and her husband Stanley of Easton, Dottie Phippin of Cambridge and Ann Debus and her husband Robert of Berlin, 6 grandchildren, Chris Routzahn, Steven Toms, David Toms, Kenneth Phippin, Jr., Tonya Phillips, and Luther Phippin, 8 great grandchildren, Christopher Routzahn, Jr., Danny Toms, Kevin O'Connor, Brandon Gayhardt, Matt Toms, Michael Toms, Leann Ketchel and James Toms, and a brother Ronald McGlaughlin, Jr. of Toddville. Besides her parents and her husbands, Mrs. Creighton is preceded in death by a sister Roberta Murphy, a brother Billy McGlaughlin and a son in law Kenneth Phippin, Sr. A graveside service will be held today, April 15, 2009 at noon at Dorchester Memorial Park with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Hosier Memorial United Methodist Church, c/o Mrs. Carolyn Noland, 1728 Hoopersville Road, Hoopersville, MD 21634. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
