We had the honor and pleasure of having Sean visit our home spring break of 2012. Sean quickly became part of our family as we saw first hand why Sean was loved so much my family, friend and teammates. Brock and Sean had fabulous times and memories forever. Our family lost a truly great friend and the world lost a fine young man way to soon in life. Sean will remain in our hearts and loved forever.

My condolences to the Bertanza family. While I did not know Sean personally, I attended many SHS basketball games and saw a magnificiently skilled player who played hard and with sportsmanship. Through Voices, I also followed his career at Lasell - good to see his skills and passion evident as he excelled at the collegiate level. Was amazed at 55 and saw his 40+ game at SHS - incredible feats. So untimely - taken too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with Sean's family and friends.

Sean was a son that we all wish we could have. I always remember his grin, Happy but mischievous, Good things to say about everybody. Always great with the younger kids. Great. Words cannot express how deeply sorry we are to learn of the loss of Sean. In the few times that we saw him play basketball his competitiveness and leadership qualities were quite evident.
