I was so sad to know that Professor Evenson passed away.
I was her student when he was Director of the International Development Economics Program. He was an excellent professor and a mentor. Being a foreing student from Peru, he was always welcomed all the international students at Yale. My prayers are wit the family. I will always cheerish what he has taught me.

Dear All,
I remember the many timese that I spent with Bob, many of them working on researach projects, both at Yale and other places in the world. I also learned how to work with Bob in order to complete some big projects; this required patience and persistence and we had some great successes. Since I also grew up on a farm (in Iowa rather than Minnesota) we would sometimes tell storis about our unusual types of early farm work. I also shared many meals with Bob and Judy. Bob will be missed.

Dear Judy,
We saw how difficult it was becoming for you to deal with Bob's disease in the last months he was at Bethesda. Dementia associated with a disease for which there is no treatment can break your heart. Please know that I have sympathy for your loss and wish your return to a normal life from which he will be missing. Recovery and reworking your life will need time. I am sorry for you and wish you well.
