HOWLAND, PRISCILLA “PAT” Priscilla (Pat) Howland, 79, of Rocky Hill, CT, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Pat was born in Hartford, CT. She is the daughter of the late Vaughn Howland and the late Frances (Ackley) Howland. Pat worked for many years as a counselor and assistant professor at Quinnipiac University, Hamden, CT. She provided career counseling through a program offered at the Russell Library in Middletown, CT. She also served as a consultant and presenter to educational institutions, businesses, libraries, social services agencies and hospitals. She was an instructor in history and psychology at Manchester Community College, an instructor of Biblical Studies and Ethics at Northfield-Mount Hermon School and an associate Chaplain at Syracuse University. A celebration of her life will be held at Rocky Hill Congregational Church, 805 Old Main Street, Rocky Hill, CT, on Sunday, March 8th at 3 PM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 9th, 1 PM, at Wethersfield Village Cemetery, 332 Hartford Avenue, Wethersfield, CT.
