Patricia Bencivengo Obituary

FRANKFORD - Patricia H. Bencivengo, 79, of Frankford, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, at Newton Medical Center.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Bencivengo lived in New York City prior to moving to Frankford in 1986. She was a manager/trainer for Bell Atlantic in New York City, retiring with 25 years of service. A member of Unity of Sussex County, Mrs. Bencivengo was a volunteer for the Bee Hive in Newton and was a former member of the Weaver's Guild.

The daughter of the late James and Anna Phillips Kelly, Mrs. Bencivengo also was predeceased by her husband, Anthony J. Bencivengo, on Nov. 2, 1995. She is survived by two brothers, James Kelly and his wife, Nada, of Sarasota, Fla., and Joe Kelly and his wife, Lorraine, of Chesapeake, Va.; many nieces and nephews; a host of friends; one stepdaughter, Patricia Dursan; two stepgrandchildren; and stepgreat-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at Unity of Sussex County, 25 Mudcut Road, Lafayette.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton.
