Mary Olson Obituary
Mary Kristine Olson of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas died at home on May 29, 2017, with her best friend, Lillie Wallick by her side. Mary was born in Canton, Ohio on March 19, 1936 to Hugo and Irene Olson. She is survived by her brother; Daniel Olson of Louisville, Ohio, her niece; Jessica Olson Noturno of Louisville, Ohio and her nephew; Steve Olson of Massillon, Ohio. Mary graduated Baldwin Wallace University. Cleveland and the University of Texas with degrees in music. In 1968, Mary joined the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra where she played viola for over twenty years. Mary retired to Arkansas in 2002, where she enjoyed nature, boating and golf. She will be remembered by her family friends, colleagues and students for her lifelong commitment to the performing arts.
