So Sorry to hear of Greg's passing. He was a good man. I will never forget his story of trying to figure out how much the insurance company should pay to the chicken farmer whose chicken coop caught fire. The image of Greg in his dress clothes, picking up and counting several day old chickens is both comical and endearing. My condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to learn of Greg's untimely passing. We met some thirty years ago when Greg was with GAB, and we continued to work together in one capacity or another until Greg retired from State Auto last year. Greg was known for his wry sense of humor, ready smile, and passion for his work. He will be remembered by his many co-workers for his insurance knowledge that he shared with them and his desire to provide good service to the company's customers.
My condolences to Greg's family for your loss, and I'm sorry I couldn't be there to help celebrate his life. I know he had the respect and admiration of many co-workers and friends. He will be missed by all of us.

Our dear Greg - this is such a shock for everyone because you've always been larger than life! So many fun memories with you when I still lived in Columbus - our gang's Friday nights with lots of dancing & enjoying each other's company. Your parties & outings were memorable, always generous & just plain fun! Our hearts go out to Deb & the entire family. You will be so missed but your smile hearty laugh will linger forever.

My Dear Debbie,
I am so sorry for your loss and all of ours. Greg was the glue that kept us all together with his spirit, laughter and kindness. He always brought good people together with his outings his cookouts, his being.
Although I didn't get to see you two much, when I did, it was a gift of friendship that will never be replaced.
Greg, no one will ever fill your shoes.
We all loved you so much.

My heart breaks. Greg was such a sweet guy that always had a hug and a smile for me. He would always joke with me about how I needed to 'make him look good' for State Auto's Nativity display. I told him I always made the 'Wisemen' look good! I will miss him dearly and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Greg was like a dad to me. I worked with him and beside him for years. He was amazing! He was there for me during hard times and when he retired we stayed in contact by meeting once a month. We talked about varies of topics and he always cheered me up and I believe I made his day also by just hanging our after work for happy hours. I will miss you Greg dearly, I can't wait to see you again some day. Until then I will never not have roses in my garden. When my roses bloom I know you grew them for me. Thank you for EVERYTHING Greg (dad)

We join so many shocked and heartbroken.
Greg was able to keep everyone happy, well fed, laughing & loved as long as he could.
Greg had a memory that could call up any funny event that happened with each of his friends, just to help us feel special.
We are left with a gift from Greg's warm heart - to remember always!
He created a close family in Columbus who will hold Debbie close, always !
Prayers for Strength!

I met Greg at Riviera Golf Club but saw him much more frequently over the last 7 years at Premier/Sawmill Athletic Club. The essence of a gentleman with a caring, easy-going manner. I always looked for him at the health club because he was such a regular and his greeting seemed to make a workout much more enjoyable. I know he had been re-habbing a shoulder hoping to play more golf again. Good to know he was getting back out. Now he can play all the golf he wants.

Greg was like a brother to me for almost 40 years. He always had my back. We shared so many good times, golf outings, happy hours at his favorite places, attending the Kentucky Derby, doing the bourbon tour in Kentucky, sitting on his patio eating Greg's latest grilled masterpieces and many, many great times. We always laughed so much that we were crying from laughing. And then there are the times we sang in his basement. Wow, what a great guy. I am going to miss you, Uncle Greg. Enjoy heaven and I hope I meet you there. Love Marge
