I think of Roy a good bit and remember how he made my day a little bit better and brighter. He and my wife both went to craft shows, and I would spend some time talking to him and solving the world's problems. He talked about his family, and he especially enjoyed his trips to Montana to see his son. Roy was just a good person.

God bless you,

Roy welcomed me into the family with open arms and I'll never forget when I asked for his daughters hand in marriage, he put out his had to shake mine and said "welcome to the family Rich." It was an honor to know you Roy. We miss you.

Frances and family, so sorry to hear about Roy. I enjoyed working with him at LDR and becoming a friend. He always made my day a little brighter. He was such a good man. I was touched and respected him so much for the way he handled his health problems. He always had a smile on his face and asked how my family was doing. And he loved his family. He talked about his children, grandchildren, and how much he loved you, Frances. God bless all of you.

Frances,

I am so sorry to hear about Roy. He was a very special person and I enjoyed working with him at LDR. I still have an arrangement that he made for me several years ago. I also enjoyed the soap and bath salts that he made. My prayers are with you and your family during this time.

Frances, so sorry about Roy. I remember when he joined LDR almost 20 years ago and we worked together until he retired. He came to mind often and he will be missed. Take care and keep the spirits up.

Frances,
So very sorry to hear of Roy's passing.
I truly enjoyed working with him. I ran across some earings he made for me the other day and they brought a smile to me. He tried it all.. Soap, bath salts, jewelry. I have samples of all of his wares. Roy was such a giving and friendly man. Hugs and prayers to you and the entire family.

To my 3 Angels: Frances, Roy Michael, and Shannon. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my uncle in the last couple of months of his life on earth. Mom is missing her little brother so much but knows he is with the Lord now.

So glad we got to visit with you. And your family before you went on to glory! You will be missed here on earth but we will meet again

Uncle Roy will be missed so much by the Hedrick family. He was more like a brother than an uncle to Alvin, Jake, Joan, Tommy & Johnny. And like a son to his sister Rose Mary. You are at peace now Roy & with your Lord. I know you are looking around in wonderment in Heaven. Family gatherings will never be the same. We love you always. Jake & Robin Hedrick

Mr. Roy and his wife Francis are our neighbors. They are not just any neighbor but great neighbors and friends. Mr. Roy who greeted and welcomed us with a heart full of love and a soul exuding with kindness to Baker, LA. We went through losing our homes to Gustav and rebuilding back together. During holidays, he made us feel so special and our children even more special by blessing us with gifts. From helping us with house chores to conversations testifying to the goodness of Jesus, we found that special time to meet upup in the yard and fellowship. Mr. Roy we are so blessed that the Lord blessed us with you and that we are able to call you friend and our brother in Christ. Our hearts break at this news... We love you and your family so very much. God Bless
