Lucille Ferrandino Obituary

Mrs. Lucille A. Ferrandino, 88, of Locust Grove, VA and formerly Glebe Harbor passed away on April 9, 2016. She was born in New York, New York and attended the Washington School for Secretaries. After graduating she became an executive secretary for Studebaker where she met her husband of 47 years, Peter Ferrandino. After raising four children, she went back to work in the secretarial field in Fairfax County and Westmoreland County. Mrs. Ferrandino enjoyed her time in both Virginia and the west coast of Florida. She was a lady with a smile on her face, a positive influence and displayed a fantastic sense of humor. Keeping up with current events and popular culture was always her nature. She was an animal advocate, a supporter of the Smithsonian Institute and loved to read. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Locust Grove, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Ferrandino. Survivors include three sons, Rod A., Steven P. and Paul C.; one daughter, Susan E.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be made to your local Humane Society/ASPCA or The Smithsonian Institute.
