BENTON
Dante Michael (Bentivegna), 90, of Midland Park, formerly of Teaneck, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2012 at Valley Hospital. Dante was born in Brooklyn, NY, one of nine children, and served in the United States Marine Corps in the Pacific for four years during WWII, attaining the rank of Sergeant. After marrying in 1950, he moved to Teaneck. Dante earned his degree at CCNY on the GI Bill, after which he worked in the textile industry for 40 years. He was an avid golfer in retirement, a volunteer for the Teaneck StarFish Organization and a lifelong Yankee fan. Dante is survived by his wife, Lorraine of Midland Park and son, Kenneth, daughter-in-law, Deborah and grandchildren David and Lauren, of Ridgewood. Funeral Service Saturday, March 31st at 11 AM at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ 07450, 201-444-7650, followed by interment at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson. The family will receive family and friends at their home in Ridgewood Saturday afternoon and evening.
