Dear Stephanie,
It's been a long time, and I was sorry to hear about the passing of your dad and your mom earlier, they were the nicest people with always a kind word and to this day anytime I hear the word dawdle I think of walking up the hill to Jesse F George school with your mom watching us. I wish you find peace in the memories of your parents, Always,

I am a friend of Albert's son Charles. I never met Albert, but I know that to have produced a man as fine as Charles Avakian, Albert must have been an extraordinary father. May he rest in peace and may his family find some comfort in the joy, love, and wisdom he brought to their lives.

Charlie, Cathi, Taylore, and Michael - and all of Al's family and friends,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Through Charlie's loving stories of "Dad," we came to know what a wonderful man he was. We pray that your sorrow will be eased by the comfort of memories of his warm smile and his legacy. May you see a new star shining in the sky at night, knowing tht he is smiling down upon you.

Uncle Al was my favorite uncle. He was the sweetest guy. I could tell he was always genuinely interested when we came to visit. And it was obvious how much he loved his family and Effie. I remember when he took out a valentine's day classified ad in the paper telling Aunt Effie how much he loved her. And I'll never forget the day he tried to help us recover a ball that was stuck in a tree. He kept throwing another ball at it and missing. So just for fun I said, "Hey did't you play professional baseball?" Al had a huge heart and a huge smile for everyone. I hadn't seen him since 2009, but I do and I will definitely miss him. I know Mark, Steffie and Charlie will hold his memory dear. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there with you.

Dear Mark, Stephanie and Charles,
You Dad was a warm and caring person. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. I always enjoyed talking to Al and your Mom when I would visit your house during High School and College. May it bring you comfort to know that nothing can diminish the wonderful ways your father touched each of your lives. His memories will live with you all forever.
