Helen Jacques Obituary

Helen Patricia Jacques

"Pat" was born December 8, 1933 and passed away April 24th, 2017. She was born in the Bronx, NY and moved to Oradell, New Jersey when she was 8 years old. Her loving parents Helen Chmela and Thomas Edward Hardy doted on her. She graduated from Dwight Morrow High School (honor society all 4 years). Pat continued her education at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania and majored in English Lit. Her first job was for a consumer ad agency. She then proceeded onto a pharmaceutical ad agency in New York City where she became an account executive for McNeil Laboratories and Roche Labs. Pat met her husband Raoul (Bud) Jacques while skiing at Windham Mountain, New York. When they married she became stepmother to Ann Lohmeyer, Peter and Timothy Jacques. She had a good friend Kim Repola. Pat and Bud traveled extensively, visiting 12 countries. She loved the National Parks, especially Yosemite, which she thought was paradise. She was a community volunteer. Patricia was a loving, caring person, and may she Rest in Peace.
