I left a message back in 2013 but remember him again 10 years later...my brother Alan and I were laughing about Mr. Glasgow the other day ...first time he met my brother he said "so, what is your name, what do I call you, Alan Henry or Henry Alan? He was always quick with the humor, but never laughed at you, but rather with you! RIP dear Sir!

I had the pleasure and benefit of having Mr. Glasglow as my soccer coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1975 and 1976. He was, above all, a gentleman, and beyond that, a sincere and smart educator, in every sense. He has left indelible lessons and memories in my mind. May his spirit forever live on the souls and minds of his family. My condolences.

I was fortunate to have George as my teacher, and years later, as colleague at Harrison High School. His depth as a person and great sense of humor made my - and everyone's - life at the high school most enjoyable. He exuded a zest for life, and by his actions, earned the friendship of countless students, athletes and teachers. May he find eternal peace in the loving hands of our heavenly Father. You were the real deal, George. God bless you and your wonderful family.

George's basketball team beat my team in the final of a tournament at the Montclair YMCA in 1958. When I went to FDU in 1961-64, he was the soccer coach. At FDU he was a revered figure because of his soccer coaching and soccer/basketball playing legacy. He was greatly respected by all at FDU.
