My sincerest condolences on the loss our dear friend, Alex. While at NYSC Westwood, he was an honorary member of the "Brain Trust" on Saturday mornings, whereby he, along with numerous other similarly situated mature men (i.e., the self-described "broken down old-warhorses"), would make fun of ourselves and each other while lifting weights and training. Alex was a wonderful, kind, respectful and honorable person who will be missed by all of us. Thank you, Alex, for your friendship, kind words, great sense of humor and humility.

I learned only today about Alex and I am profoundly sad. He was always a joy to see and chat with in NYSC Westwood where he and Pandora used to take my Spinning classes. We would discuss everything from travel to politics and Alex would always manage to find the humor in what we talked about. Pandora, my prayers go out to you and for Alex. I know he will be deeply missed.

I am deeply sad for the loss of a great friend and associate. Through the years we became good friends and I am at a loss of what to say. Our thoughts and prayers are with Pandora and the family. May you find peace in memories and know that he was a great person and will be missed.

Unbearable sadness has filled my heart with the passing of my dear uncle who always wanted me to call him "barba" as we laughed every time I said it. Memories pass my mind like a silent movie from when I was little and he used to empty my toy box and sit with me and play to the days where he would ride his bike from Washington Heights to NJ just to have a glass of water at our house or when photography was his great hobby and he snapshot everyone. I remember the first time he took me roller blading and laughed as we fell but also the night we went out to dinner and he told me how much he loved Pandora and was going to marry her. All those memories will never die, he will always be in my heart and I will always remember him. I pray for Pandora and my cousins to have strength to deal with this unbelievable loss. They are in my mind and heart as well as in the prayers of my husband John and my children who had the luck of meeting him. Kalo taxidi..... Maraki Tsoukalas

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
