Lionel Winograd Obituary
Lionel, 88, of Leonia, NJ, passed away July 5. Mr. Winograd was a veteran of the US Army, had a career as a graphic designer in the ad agency and industrial design worlds and was an exceptional artist. He was a member of the Anti-Defamation League and The Cooper Union Alumni Association. Husband of Mona Winograd Roth. Devoted father of Marc Winograd, Elicia Greenberg, and Melissa Hatter. Caring father-in-law of Terry Winograd, Jonathan Greenberg and Daniel Hatter. Brother to Gail Winograd, Mayer Winograd and the late Ruth Lieberman. Cherished Grandfather to Jade Greenberg, Juliana Winograd, Nathaniel and Ethan Hatter and the late Emma Winograd. Graveside Service will be held at Beth David Cemetery, Kenilworth on Thursday, July 7 at 10:30 AM. If desired donations may be made in his memory to the Ronald McDonald House or The Cooper Union.
