McNAMARA
Mary C., age 73, of Midland Park, NJ, died on Sunday, June 19, 2016 on Long Beach Island, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in the Bronx, NY and has resided in Midland Park for 47 years. She was a graduate of Cathedral High School and earned a BA degree from Manhattan College. She was an active parishioner of Church of the Nativity, Midland Park. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and spent many years volunteering in various roles at the former Nativity School. She was also a longtime volunteer and former Co-Director of The Depot in Midland Park and received the Building Futures Award in 2011 for her service. Mary and her husband were blessed with many exciting excursions and trips around the world. Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, William "Bill" McNamara of Midland Park, and her loving children: William McNamara, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Macungie, PA; Mary Moulton, and her husband Mark of North Muskegon, MI; and Nancy DiPietro and her husband, Lou of Norfolk, MA. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren: Jake, Spencer, Cara, Mitchell, Jordan, Zachary, Louie, Olivia, Richard and Emerson, and three siblings: Winnie Reilly, Kevin Lynch and Irene Overall, all of Florida. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7:00-9:00 and Friday 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ 07481. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, 10:00 am at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect Street, Midland Park, NJ 07432. An entombment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.
