Grandma Ramella was a very, very special lady; everybody's mom, everybody's grandma and most of all everybody's friend. She had a wonderful sense of humor through it all and was the life of every party. Even through all the pain and suffering she went through in her life, both physical and emotional, she kept that wonderful sense of humor even when you would least expect it. I remember at her husband's wake, Bob Phelan and I walked in and she came over, tissue in hand, looked Bob in the eye and said, I put his green socks on and gave a little chuckle.
I am so glad Jim and I stopped to see her last Thanksgiving. In my heart I knew it would be the last time. And now, I have to go to work with a tissue in my hand.
God Bless you and keep you safe Georgette.
Love forever,
Barbara and Jim
