Joe, Sabrina and Logan, I share your deep sense of loss, and hope that in some small way going forward I can help you to deal with it and heal.
At family gatherings, when we were all younger, my late brother Bill and I would practice and perform comedy sketches - Monty Python material was her favorite - with the sole intention of getting Liisa to laugh. Even as a young child, she had the most wonderful laugh, and once heard, you were always affected by it.
I will always love you and miss you, my dear Cousin, and when my thoughts turn to you, I will see and hear you laughing...

It is with great shock and sadness that I heard of Liisa's passing. She was friends with my brother, and I got to know her very well through him. My thoughts are with her family and friends at this time...may she rest in peace.

Joe, Sabrina, and Logan,
I am so sorry for your loss. Liisa and I went to high school together and sang together in the choir and in musicals. She was such a kind, gentle person and had the voice of an angel. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Liisa loved deeply, cared for others, and always tried to make everyone happy.
The memories we've shared growing up together helped shape the person I am today, she had such a joy of life and a child like spirit that she never lost. She loved nature, history and music.
I love you Liisa (aka Weezer, baby hooba, and the baby)

To Liisa's Family - There are no words to express how sorry I am for your loss. I knew Liisa from school and she was the first person to befriend me when I moved to Montvale in sixth grade. She was kind and friendly and non-judgmental. I will always remember that about her and am grateful to have known her.
I am praying for you all!

Joe, Liisa and I were very good friends from the moment we met freshmen year in high school. Susan Courtad and I came from Woodcliff Lake and Liisa and Amy came from Montvale, and we teamed up to make a pretty great group of friends. We had so many laughs together and we became each other's greatest champions. Liisa was always a great friend to me, then and for years after high school. She sat with me when I had my wisdom teeth pulled and helped me sort through all sorts of high school agnst. She nicknamed me Kimber, like a tree falling in the forest! She was a special friend to me and will always be a part of my most cherished memories of high school. It saddens me greatly that she no longer walks this earth. I hope her children know what a truly wonderful human being she was and that she made a difference in my life and I am glad that I had the chance to be a part of her life. She'll be forever in my heart. Kimberly Reilly Manukas, PHHS Class of 1986
