Walter Makos Obituary
Walter, 87, of Wayne, passed away on February 5, 2012. Born in Wegerka, Poland, he came to the US in 1962 and lived in Passaic and Clifton before moving to Wayne 31 years ago. A former parishioner of St. John Kanty R.C. Church, Clifton, Walter was a Mason for Jon Construction in Clifton for many years, retiring in 1989. Beloved husband for 62 years of Julia (Pukalska). Devoted father of Mary Flick and her husband Richard, and Krystyna Reiter, all of Wayne. Loving grandfather of Nicole and Eric Flick, and Kenneth Reiter. Funeral Friday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Thursday 6-9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Hospice of NJ, 400 Broadacres Dr., Bloomfield, NJ 07003, www.americanhospice.com , in Walter's memory, would be greatly appreciated.
