Terry D'Ambrosia Greer, 69, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Montclair, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 7, in Raymond, Maine.

A celebration of her life will be held for friends and family at 24 Jones Road, Raymond, Maine, on Saturday, July 14, from 1 to 5 p.m. There will be no funeral service or wake.

Born in White Plains, N.Y., Mrs. Greer lived with her husband in Hawaii, Berlin, New Hampshire, Ipswich, Mass., Yarmouth, Maine, Washington, D.C., Boston, Mass., and Montclair. She was a 1964 graduate of the University of New Hampshire. She loved reading, walking her dog, her plants and herbs, and sighting hummingbirds, and was an intense observer of national politics. Mrs. Greer is survived by her husband of 49 years, Peter Greer; her daughter, Rebekah Gabor; her son, Tucker Greer; her sister, Nancy D'Ambrosia; her five grandchildren, Andrew Gabor, Michael Gabor, Greer Gabor, Campbell Greer, and Josephine Greer; and her Yorkie, Violet.
