Clara Alvaro Obituary

ALVARO Clara (nee Fontana) a lifelong resident of Hackensack, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at the age of 91 years. Prior to retiring, she was an over lapper for Goldberg Slipper Factory of Hackensack. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late William Alvaro. Devoted mother of Sandra Smith of Homestead, FL, William Alvaro and his wife Edona of Washington Township, Cyn-thia Smith of Ashland, VA, and Arlene Schatz of Hack-ensack. Loving grandmother of Cindy, Cherie, William, Mary Jo, Kara, Timothy, Ric-hard, Michael and Jennifer and fourteen great-grand-children. The Funeral on Saturday, January 19, 2008, at 11 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian and Burial at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack at 12 Noon. Interment, George Was-hington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
