Peter Battaglia Obituary
Born in Newark, he was a lifelong resident of Rockaway Borough.
Battaglia was a self-employed construction worker.
He is survived by his brother, Salvatore and his wife Sharon of Dover; his sister, Rosemary Carmella Bisson of Wharton; his four nieces, Dawn Piccirilli, Laura Battaglia, April Bisson and Joanna Bisson; his nephew, Franco Battaglia; and two great-nephews, Joseph Piccirilli and Dylan Emond. He was predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Giovannina, and his brother, Frank.
Funeral services held by the Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home in Rockaway to a funeral mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Rockaway. Entombment followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover.
