August F., 93, of Bergenfield died on October 29, 2013.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a truck mechanic for Davidson's Trucking in Jersey City. An Army Veteran of WWII, he was a life member of V.F.W. Post #809 in Little Ferry, was a member of the Hoboken Soccer Club and coached youth soccer in Bergenfield and Dumont.
Devoted husband of Roseanna H. Siebert (nee Kelsey). Beloved father of Linda Nappi and her husband Anthony, Glen Siebert and his wife Barbara, Ronald Siebert and Roseanna Valanzano and her husband Donald. Dear brother of Anna Larson, John and Frank Siebert. Loving grandfather of Jennifer and Andrew Siebert, Jeffery Valanzano, Laurie Allen and Donald Valanzano, Jr. and great grandfather of Jacob and Lillian.
Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service at the funeral home on Friday at 11 AM. Followed by a private cremation.
