Dorothy Cronk Obituary

CRONK
Dorothy Ann, 77, of West Milford, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2014.
Born in Jersey City, Dorothy grew up in Union City and attended St. Al's Academy, where she was the Class President. She attended the Berkley Business School and worked for TRW in Fairfield as an executive assistant.
Dorothy was a parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church in West Milford for 45 years and resided in High Crest Lake, where she raised her family with her devoted husband of 56 years, Jasper "Pete" Cronk. Dorothy loved to attend her grandchildren's sporting events and looked forward to celebrating each of their birthdays.
She was a loving mother to her children, Peter Cronk and his wife Kristen of Moorestown, Dennis Cronk of Monmouth Beach, Mary Ellen Cronk of Medford, and Gary Cronk and his wife Karen of Colts Neck. She was an adoring grandmother to Megan, Connor, Melanie and Brian, and a dear sister of Mary Boemo and her husband Al of Lakewood.
Visiting hours will be 10 AM to 12 PM Thursday at St. Joseph's RC Church, 454 Germantown Road, West Milford. A funeral Mass will be held at the church at 12 PM following visitation. Burial will be held in the church's cemetery immediately following Mass.

Pete and family, may God grant unto her, eternal rest. I am so sorry for your loss. Like my mom, she was gone so unexpectedly which makes it so much more difficult on those of us left behind. I'm sure my mom was there to welcome one of her girls club.

Uncle Pete & the entire Cronk familiy, Our hearts ache for you and your family at this time. Aunt Dotty was such an amazing person and she will truly be missed. God took her so fast to spare her the physical pain, because of this our hearts are feeling extreme emotional pain. Heaven just gained one of the most precious angels. RIP Aunt Dotty. We love you! Tears of love have been flowing as we miss grandma so very much. My girls are blessed to have a grandma who was so special and loved them with all her heart. Always cheering the girls on at their events even when she wasn't feeling well. We know you will continue smiling and cheering them on from heaven with Kelsea and Zoey by your side , tails wagging. We love you and miss you!
