BICKHARDT
John, 79, of Clifton, passed away on April 15, 2016. Born in Englewood, he lived in Fairview before moving to Clifton 29 years ago. A US Army Veteran during Peacetime, John was a former member of the Fairview Fire Department, Tiger Hose Co. # 1, for many years. John was a Machinist for Duro-Test in Clifton for 35 years, retiring in 1998, and later worked at Home Depot in Clifton for several years.
Beloved husband of Jennie (Fila). Devoted step father of Benjamin and Peter Sowizral, both of Clifton. Loving grandfather of Peter, Krystina, Benjamin and Katie Ann. Dear brother of Joseph and his wife Lois of Stillwater. Cherished uncle of Mark, Keith and Gregory.
Funeral Monday 10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st St., Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131, www.parkinson.org, in memory of John, would be greatly appreciated. www.ShookFH.com

johnny may you rest in peace your suffering in done you were a loving man and a great grandfatheryou will be truly misses and loved. im so glad i came up from florida to see see you that gives me peace,jenny you take care of yourself i will call you soon i always loved you johnny ill miss talking to you on the phone i would be there but its to far but ill be there in heart and soul love you cathy
